Justrite's Lithium battery EN cabinets are equipped with the latest safety technology to protect personnel and property fully against the potential hazards of storing, handling, and charging Lithium-ion batteries.
Fire tests in compliance with the most stringent international standards, such as EN 14470-1, certify that the cabinet fulfills all fire requirements to act as a safety barrier in protecting in-stored Lithium-ion batteries from overheating due to external fires for at least 90 minutes, preventing the batteries from spontaneously combusting, becoming unstable, or exploding.

Strong Construction
- Complies with the highest European standards EN14470-1 & EN12161. Guarantees safety without compromise.
- 90 minutes of fire protection acts as a safety barrier in protecting stored Lithium-ion batteries from overheating or exploding due to external fires for at least 90 minutes.
- Manufactured from 1-1.5mm electro-galvanized steel painted with anti-acid epoxy powder. Insulated with high-density rock-wool fiber hand calcium sulfate panels.

- Automatic door closure when the temperature exceeds 47℃. 3 cm thermo-expanding seals keep the door completely closed. Anti-spark hinges ensure door stability.
- Ventilation holes on the top and bottom of the cabinet automatically close at 70℃ for air inlet and outlet pipes.
- Perforated shelves promote airflow throughout the cabinet in combination with ventilation holes.

Optional high-visibility yellow border along the sides, designed to comply with OSHA code 1910-144. This regulation specifies the use of safety colours to mark physical hazards, and the yellow border serves as a clear visual cue to enhance safety in the workplace.
2. Diamond Plate Pattern Provides Traction
The diamond plate pattern is specifically designed to enhance traction, offering a secure grip underfoot, even in demanding work environments. This textured surface helps to reduce slips and falls by providing extra stability.
