Shipping policy
Justrite Safety Group EMEA works hard to support customer needs and therefore uses a number of standard carriers to ensure that each of our customers receives the best price and service in your package delivery. Due to the volume of packages we ship, we have negotiated bulk shipping rates and all shippers have established pickup times.
- Small packages are generally shipped using DPD small parcel service
- Freight shipments are sent using quality GEFCO LTL or freight service. We may use other carriers depending on the shipment destination, special requirements and speed of delivery needed.
- Shipping & Handling charges are all non-refundable.
PROCESSING
Standard orders will be processed and scheduled to ship within 24-hours (see backorder policy). Shipping transit times are in addition to this processing time. For large and project orders, a shipping estimate will be provided based on the quantity and complexity of the order.
Custom simple products will ship 24-48 hours depending on the quantity and complexity of the order. For large custom orders and custom complex orders, a shipping estimate will be provided based on the quantity and complexity of the order.
Keep in mind that in some circumstances, shipments could be delayed for a variety of reasons. If arrival of a product is time-sensitive, please ask your salesperson for an estimate. Orders received on Friday, or over the weekend or a holiday will typically be shipped the following working day.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
All orders are shipped with the Ex Works (EXW) terms unless otherwise agreed. Orders that do not specify a shipping method will be shipped via the most economical option.
Certain products may require additional handling charges or fees which will be noted on the product page or Sales Order Confirmation. Displayed shipping charges on orders placed on our Site are estimates and are subject to change based on current rates, surcharge and fees. The cost of any special packing, special handling, special requirements or requests shall be added to the amount of the order. Hazardous packages can only ship via Ground.
DELIVERY
Justrite will make all attempts to complete delivery of the product(s) in the time frame indicated on the Sales Order confirmation. If a delivery should be delayed, the Seller will make a good faith effort to contact the Buyer. The products may be delivered in advance upon giving reasonable notice.
All orders are shipped insured for the full order value at carrier rates. Shipping costs are not covered by insurance. Insurance cannot cover lost packages provided by a customer at checkout. Justrite is not responsible for the loss of these packages.
REFUSED OR REJECTED SHIPMENTS
Shipments that are refused, returned or lost due to an incorrect address, rejected or abandoned will be returned. Return freight charges and fees, including outbound shipping charges, will be deducted from the available product refund and credited to the original form of payment within 1-2 weeks of receipt of return.
OWN CARRIER
Upon request, orders may be shipped via own carrier. International delivery or brokerage fees, customs and import/export tariffs, duties, taxes and similar charges, and compliance with all import procedures, documentation and legal requirements are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
PICK UP ORDERS
Upon request, orders may be picked up. Sales support will provide the shipping information when the order is ready for pick up. If the order is not picked up within seven (7) business days of contact date, the order will be shipped automatically using our carriers.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
All delivered material should be inspected and counted BEFORE accepting shipment. Any damages or shortages should be documented on freight bill. If any discrepancies occur, please contact our customer service department for assistance in filing a claim. All damaged product and shipping materials must be retained until resolution of carrier claims. For more information, please see Justrite Returns Policy.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
Once an item has been pulled and boxed for shipping, any cancellation of the order is considered a return and will be assessed and a restocking fee will be applied:
Full rolls/Stock sizes -15%
Broken packaging -20%
Custom sizes, cut length or special ordered products are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please see Order Cancellation under our Returns Policy.
SHIPPING QUOTATIONS
Shipping charges will be calculated by weight and dimensions. Upon request, freight can be estimated prior to shipment with a valid ship-to address.
BACKORDERS
While we maintain a large inventory, some items may be out of stock and will require backordering. We will ship all items we have on hand and backorder any remaining items. Backorders will be shipped once the product has been produced and received in the warehouse. We may bill backorders separately, and bill what is shipped. Applicable shipping and handling charges will apply for each shipment.
